Our Hye-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Same-day appointments available across Hye and the surrounding zip codes.
No automated menus for emergencies — a real person handles the call.
You'll get a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins — no guessing what the final bill will look like.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Hye, TX.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, residential or commercial.
Hye's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Hye and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Hye is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Hye rooftop unit. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our Hye techs handle it with the same level of care.
When your Heat Pump Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Hye dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Hye homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Hye homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Hye, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Hye households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Hye get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
This is one of the most common complaints we hear on service calls across Hye.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
Every technician carries current state licensing and manufacturer training.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling and discounted rates.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"I called three other companies first and this was the only one that actually picked up. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone."
"Signed up for the annual plan after our first repair and it's paid for itself already. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. New system is noticeably quieter and our energy bill actually dropped."
"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. This is the company I'm saving in my phone now."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Hye's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Filters should be checked monthly during heavy-use seasons and replaced roughly every 60-90 days depending on your household and any pets.
Clearing debris, leaves, and overgrown landscaping away from an outdoor condenser unit gives it room to breathe and keeps it running efficiently. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Hye area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.

For most residential visits, yes, an adult should be present to grant access and approve any quoted work.
Housing stock varies a lot across Hye — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
Larger properties get the same upfront pricing and licensed technicians as a single-family service call, just coordinated at scale.
Qualifying installations can be financed through options we'll walk you through during your in-home estimate, with terms explained clearly before you commit to anything. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Hye installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
We dispatch throughout Hye and the neighboring communities, keeping response times tight because our trucks stay close to home.
Coverage isn't limited to a single neighborhood or subdivision — our Hye dispatch zone stretches across the metro area and into the surrounding suburbs and unincorporated communities.
